Hi all. Ive got problem with fighting animations. Most of them look like soldiers were experiencing strong heart attacks. I dont see nice fighting animations, only those heart attacks and only small % of them, ends with a nice animation. And same problem is also when one unit flees ans another starts to chase her. When soldier, who is trying to catch fleeing enemy finally reache him, fleeing soldier wont face him,he just stands and waiting to die and of course it ends with a heart attack. Why? I dont have any other mod which could affect fighting animations. THX for help
OK thx Ill wait for reply
I also would like to ask,if its normal that during a fight, when someone hit another soldier with his weapon, the soldier who is hit, smashes himself on a ground and that he stand up and continue fighting
Yes.

db -> DeI_special_ability_phase_stat_effects
form_hollow_square > stat_mele_defence instead of stat_melee_defence
because of the typo, bonus is not active...
Thanks!

I believe those skills require both previous skills to unlock? If I remember correctly thats how I set it up, I would have to check again. Anyway thats probably how the new UI shows that.
No point in reporting it, there are multiple battle map bugs that have never been fixed. Knossos has no battle map at all in the IA map, Capsa uses a water map in the middle of a desert, Syracuse uses Carthage, various locations are missing ambush types on multiple campaigns,....etc. They have never seemed interested in fixing it.
For some reason I booted up today and I found the pike wall is completely broken. When the pikes are there, the unit doesn't actually have any pointing forward. they're also not able to run anymore, even though a couple days ago they could run. They also don't use the pikes- they engage with swords, whether attacking or defending.
What the heck is going on here?

EDIT: Sorry for wasting your time, I just found that the issue isn't with DeI itself but with the best roman formations mod. It was fine before, not sure what changed.
Thanks!

Weird problem!! The game crashes when i make a save
I play the newest version 1.2.2f just fine,I started a campaign with pontus, then i started to download the submods. These are:
1/ English unit name
2/ No public order negative from garrison
3/All diplomacy option
4/Reduce Unit unkeep
5/ Supply replenish ammo
6/Additional unit mod vanilla
Up to this point, the game still runs fine, but then I accidentally messed up the load order in Mod Manager
Now when I load my latest save it's still good. But the problem is the game crashes whenever I make a save or end turn as the Autosave is made. I can't remember my former load order. I tried deactivating some submod, but it only make the save unloadable for me
My questions is Is the load order so important that it crashes the game when altered? Can those submods be changed or de-activated without crashing a save?
Nvm I found the problem, it's that i forgot to reactivate the 4 TPY submod
What is this mod though? Something that adds new units? For vanilla? That sounds like something that is very much not compatible with DeI.
Also there's no reason to mess around with that mod manager tool. The submods are named in alphabetical order to be compatible with DeI when you load them with Steam's mod manager.
