And this mod seems to override the 'Patrol Stance' of DeI?
I like your idea very much, it does complicate things in a good way. Too bad it cannot coexist with patrol stance
Re-download @@@@March&Engage_v1.2.2e_fix.zip I'v forgot to add bandity supress. Sorry. Encampment stance will Take over most of what Patrol stance was doing.
* test purpose -- I've made March! Double Time stance can not reinforcement.

It turns out I can not prevent March! & doubletime stance to reinforcing near ally. -100 reinforcement range does not works.
It seams like internal matter like Forced march that is always ambushed when attacked.
this mod is great. sadly not compatible with Data Venia. is it possible to make a version for this overhaul?

Done. But I did not proper test since I'm not interested in DV right now.
V1.2.2g seems to break your mod, ragnar. My game gets stuck at the load screen. I tried V.1.2.2e fix and the older version; none worked. It goes without saying that I tested it with only this mod and DeI.
What's new ver 01102018
1. it looks like reinforcing are integrated in game engine. Instead, March! & double-time stance will receive penalty which is equivalent to "winded". It is not an unsolved issue. I just wander whether it would be better or not.It turns out I can not prevent March! & doubletime stance to reinforcing near ally. -100 reinforcement range does not works.
2. Ground road modification. it is definitely related to march. Rough terrain will require more movement points.
3. Increased AP requirement for encampment. (test)

Hey Ragnar I am using your mod and it's very cool!
Questions:
- I have 2 armies that are quite close together but not quiet within "Deploy" distance. I put 1 army into "March", move just a little bit, then cannot change to Deploy even though lots of AP left. Is that always the case?
- Does this affect fleet movement for port attack? I see AI armies sail close to my port and then leave without attacking.
- AI seems to remain in March stance when they are blocked by enemy zone of control?
It's nice that armies can actually march without the silly long-range AI attacks.
