    I did not change the xml ones, so you should be free to use the original ones

    Nice one,
    just to update some comments I posted on an earlier version of this.1.Ladders/Siege Towers being too tall - I don't think this was anything to do with your mod , I have my own small mod which I run as `americas` or `crusades`and have the same problem so I`m guessing its a Steam/Windows 10 problem or perhaps because I haven't unpacked the game?2.Militia Cavalry shields -Ditto.3.The new strat captains/battlefield captains will only work properly with the vanilla game as factions that aren't in the base game produce some weird looking creatures :-)4.The map textures should work fine as should the real horses mod.Thanks for all your good work on these mods,

    One last question - do you have unit category "skirmish" in EDU? And "spearmen cavalry" combination?

    My sister, do you still recall the blue Hasan and Khalkhin-Gol?

    No voices on strategic map and in battle for teutonic order is that normal ? (like no "Yes sir" or "Spearmen" when selected)

    @Baron, couple things first- are you Steam or disc? Do you have the game or steam installed outside of the Programs folder?

    yeah that may be, i will write it on my list for the patch. If i remember correctly I did not get it to work, but now its on my list

    I will give you onto the hands of my beloved Dragour, maybe he has an idea, but I will keep an eye out.

    @Baron have you installed any mods which overwrite the game folders? Mods such as Third Age DaC or Eras Total Conquest overwrite game files and can mess with other mods.
    Also have you applied the 4gb patch to your kingdoms.exe?

    I will mail you the link since it can't be posted here, but it's a patch you download and can be applied to any game's .exe file to increase it's memory, many mods for Medieval 2 are too big for the original .exe to handle so they need this patch

    @Dragour, Thank you for trying to help but the patch didn't help. I had used that 4GB patch before but forgot about it. I think it was in Call of Warhammer. Banana folder in the \mods with no other mods installed in the Medieval II Total War game folder. Tried the little things when it didn't work for me like delete map.rwm, then deleting the text BIN files. Re-downloaded the mod twice from both links and even re-installed Medieval II w\Kingdoms but it won't work. Again thanks for trying to help.

    @Baron how far does the game get before it crashes? Does it get to the loading screen? Selecting a faction? Or you get an error after clicking the .bat file?

    I'm starting my work with battle .xml, and have one question - there's a possibility of different melee hitrate for different types and classes vs other ones (like that: spearmen beat cavalry; cavalry beat melee infantry; melee infantry beat spearmen; everyone beat missile). Do you have interest with this feature or we stay vanilla 1.75 hitrate for all?

    It crashes at the Total Bananas loading screen.

    @Baron ok personally my best option would be to get the game on Steam, in your Steam library go to 'Games' at the top, then 'activate product on Steam' and put in your Kingdom's CD key and you get a free copy of the game on Steam
