So Acosta gets to keep his access to the White house and everyone is celebrating this as a victory. Why?!
Yes, the court ruled correctly that the White house lacked the grounds to kick him out, and that's a golden opportunity for president Trump to introduce rules that don't just affect Acosta, but every journalist in the white house from here on out.
Again: Acosta didn't ask any intelligent questions. The topic (the migrant caravan and Trump calling it an "invasion") is indeed a valid one, but Acosta couldn't just keep it neutral, he had to ask it in an accusing tone and interrupt Trump the moment he answered. Unusual for Trump, he answered that one as well. Acosta then tried to start a discussion about the issue, but Trump stated correctly that Acosta should do his job as a reporter, while he'd be doing his as a president.
He tried to move on to the next reporter, and here's where Acosta's behaviour got ridiculous, pushing the intern away and starting to talk about the Russia investigation. He asked at least 5 questions by my count, and repeatedly interrupted others including his colleagues, whose job he was obstructing.
So how, how (?!!!) can one get to the conclusion that his is a first amendment issue?!
This kind of antagonism is what Trump thrives on. This is why he never has to defend the stupid things he says and does. He can skip all of that and attack them directly.
And not only did Acosta fail to contribute anything of substance to those issues, he has also made the lifes of his colleagues harder.
Meanwhile, what everyone knew and yet has been denied by those with blinders on has been proven to be true.
There's a sealed indictment against Assange and they're just waiting for him to get out of the embassy for the Brits to arrest and extradite.
That's why the Brits have spent such a huge amount of money on him, and that's what they'll keep doing as long as it takes.
This is a first amendment issue and hypocricy in its truest form.
Be rude and interrupt and everyone will take a stand for you.
Prove war crimes and no one'll give a
