You don't think he has ever acted unprofessional? I'm wondering if you are ever going to provide any meaningful discussion. I keep holding out hope, but much like hoping that the GOP may do the right thing...it's probably in vain.

Look at his ing twitter. You think those toilet twitter tantrums are conduct becoming of the elected official of an entire country? He acts like a ing five year old, dude. His meltdowns over Mueller alone are laughable, much less all the he does on there.

Answer right now...Is his behavior on social media professional, yes or no? No whataboutisms, no comparing him to other leaders, nothing. A simple answer...yes or no.

Ignoring this question, by the way, will be considered as you agreeing that his behavior (again, similar to that of a child) is perfectly suitable for a leader of a country.
Things I trust more than American conservatives:

A whataboutism while demanding no more whataboutisms. Isn't the universe supposed to invert or something when this happens?
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Have we discussed yet how the courts have overturned Trump's tantrum and restored Acosta's pass?

Yes. A few posts ago. They'll be making actual arguments in a few weeks and the judge will then make an actual ruling. Where were you?

Don't let that stop you from commenting. But you know. These developments are something like 2-3 days old. RTFT is not a hard thing to do with that. It's not like you're picking up a story a week old here.

So Acosta gets to keep his access to the White house and everyone is celebrating this as a victory. Why?!
Yes, the court ruled correctly that the White house lacked the grounds to kick him out, and that's a golden opportunity for president Trump to introduce rules that don't just affect Acosta, but every journalist in the white house from here on out.

Again: Acosta didn't ask any intelligent questions. The topic (the migrant caravan and Trump calling it an "invasion") is indeed a valid one, but Acosta couldn't just keep it neutral, he had to ask it in an accusing tone and interrupt Trump the moment he answered. Unusual for Trump, he answered that one as well. Acosta then tried to start a discussion about the issue, but Trump stated correctly that Acosta should do his job as a reporter, while he'd be doing his as a president.
He tried to move on to the next reporter, and here's where Acosta's behaviour got ridiculous, pushing the intern away and starting to talk about the Russia investigation. He asked at least 5 questions by my count, and repeatedly interrupted others including his colleagues, whose job he was obstructing.

So how, how (?!!!) can one get to the conclusion that his is a first amendment issue?!

This kind of antagonism is what Trump thrives on. This is why he never has to defend the stupid things he says and does. He can skip all of that and attack them directly.
And not only did Acosta fail to contribute anything of substance to those issues, he has also made the lifes of his colleagues harder.

Meanwhile, what everyone knew and yet has been denied by those with blinders on has been proven to be true.
There's a sealed indictment against Assange and they're just waiting for him to get out of the embassy for the Brits to arrest and extradite.
That's why the Brits have spent such a huge amount of money on him, and that's what they'll keep doing as long as it takes.

This is a first amendment issue and hypocricy in its truest form.
Be rude and interrupt and everyone will take a stand for you.

Amazing how reporters sometimes press on politicians to get a proper answer. You seem to be misrepresenting what happened on a number of levels. For starters, it was Trump that opened it with hostility. The moment Acosta opened his mouth Trump interrupted with saying "here we go" and attempted to belittle him by a failed whistle and hand gestures. As Acosta continued to talk Trump continued his conduct and didn't let him finish his question. It's a matter of fact that the caravan is not an invasion and Trump kept trying to dodge that while Acosta tried to pressure him on his take on immigrants. He didn't push the intern away. It's ridiculous to suggest that. Trump continued to harass Acosta and other journalists there and Acosta responded in kind. He only asked about 2 issues as well; the caravan and the Russian investigation.

You're practically trying to distort what happened to help Trump avoid defending his words.

I thought the number one rule of journalism wasn't to become the story. Now a bunch of idiots are propping up Acosta's grand standing. If CNN gacve two about reporting correctly, they'd get a bull dog like Helen Thomas instead of this clown Acosta. Sunday night, this fool was actually taking questions from the press over his banning. Pretty disgusting.

For starters, the mutual hostility between Trump and CNN have been ongoing for a long time. So there wasn't a surprise for Acosta.
So no, I don't see the relevance in that.
Secondly, no matter how Trump conducted himself, Acosta did get to finish his question and received an answer to that.

I don't disagree with you on the caravan itself, but that does not excuse Acosta's conduct. His conduct and tone provided Trump with the alibi needed to not answer the question.

Two completely unrelated issues, which contradicts your claim of him pressing him on anything. You don't switch to a completely unrelated issue that has been talked to death when you're really trying to catch someone.

Except that Trumps behaviour is well known to everyone and nothing about it can surprise anyone. That cannot be an excuse for unprofessional behaviour and the fall-out of all of this has made it harder for all journalists in the white house who actually want to press him on issues. Again, there are tons of issues to press Trump on. If Acosta hadn't "responded in kind" Trump would've looked worse.

Doesn't really matter. As a public government institution, The White House has to have grounds to remove the press pass. They can't jump from reason to reason to reason, hence the judge handing the press pass back and saying they would discuss it in detail at a later date. When Trump threatened to just rip the press pass back out of his hands after two weeks with no legitimate argument, they went straight back to the judge, and rightly so. So The White House did what they should've done in the first place if Trump was so intimidated by the Press Corps. Establish rules.

It matters to me because I don't want to hear grand standing. The guy, Trump, gives an hour and a half press conference, calls on 30 plus journalists, and all we know from the entire event is this prima donna. I'm not being served. Acosta is everything wrong with Journalism right now.

I don't give two damns what matters to you. The Fifth Amendment is there for a reason and the Fifth Amendment is why the judge flat out gave the press pass back to Acosta pending further rulings. If Trump wants to play these games he can resign and go back to Trump Tower and private business.

Now there are standing rules to not be broken as opposed to unofficial protocols. If rules are broken, press passes are revoked. And the Fifth Amendment holds, and their rights are protected.

You don't give two damns??? I don't give two s what you think. CNN is a god damn travesty that is doing more harm to the institution that is journalism. Acosta got his cards back because apparently the rule making authority is open ended. I hope they close the loop hole, kick his ass out of there and CNN quits playing the reality TV game and puts a journalist worth a damn.

And what constitutes such a journalist in your eyes?

Its great how some Americans clinge to Freedom of Speech and Freedom to own Firearms up to an insane level, but freedom of Press is worthless to them.
