We (I mean both Irish and Armenians, my father is from Kerry), both have the drinking stereotype, but the stubborness and temper is somewhat true about both; except in Armenians I have noticed that it mostly builds until the floodgates open...at which point I advise running.

I guess both peoples get along quite well together.

Mike, I understand what you mean, but I think that is not the best way to phrase it.
A mix of Europe and Islam would be an Islamic European, yes?
See, Islam is a religion and not a culture. European is a culture.
You mean to say that Armenia's militarty techniques mix both Middle Eastern and European influences, yes?
After, all, while geographically being in Asia, we are Christians. Being European has little to do with religion and being from the Middle East has nothing to do with religion either.

Just to mention, I may be mistaken, but I think the Aspets wield the one handed axe alongside of the javelin. Just to emphasize how anti-armor is going to be a strong attribute of the Armenians. They may well be the only faction to feature Crossbows, Javelins, and hand held AP weapons in the same roster.

I think I gave the aspets a sword as their secondary weapon. I may be wrong but the axe doesn't seem to very typical for the region. The aspet get AP javs though, so they're going to be a good unit to use against armoured foes.

The axe and sword were both used by Armenians at this time, so either is fine.

My Mistake. The sword is quite good though, and that'll let Axe/Jav be a Daylami/Ghorid specialty.

Nice work with the Nakharar(sp?), they look really frickin' vicious.
