    is there a way to decrease the distance to capital penalty?
    I have tried to edit the descr_settlement_mechanics to no avail.

    It should be adjusted in the next release. I'm doing my best to finish it quickly.

    not sure if this is the thread to place this, im new to the forum. im playing this SSHIP mod, so far looks great.

    It's turn 23, a small army of HRE is sieging Dyjon, im playing as the french by the way. I sent some reinforcements from Troyes to fight off the attack, but i get crash "unspecific error blablabla" when loading to the battle map.

    here is the systemlog:

    hi again, i wanted to edit my previous post to add some info but i cant see any edit option so.... i did the following experience, recreated the battle in custom battle mode with the same type of units and i get the crash as well, maybe that tells something more?

    Please tell me which units were involved, so I can look into it.

    I fixed all other bugs so far by the way, besides the valladolid anc. and the shadows on the rum-banners.

    crossbow militia x3
    mailed knights
    spear militia
    mailed foot knights

    my french units:

    general x2
    spearmen
    crossbow militia x2
    spear milita x4
    mailed footknigts

    but i've seen noone else complaining about crash playing with or against HRE units, its weird, i always think the problem was me on the process of installing. I did as shown below:

    ss6.3
    ss6.3 patch2.5
    ss6.4

    SSHIP v.0.8.2 full install
    SSHIP v.0.8.3
    SSHIP v.0.8.3 hotfix

    maybe one of that units have a typo in battle_models.modeldb
    i got a crash with similar problem before (check my older post in this thread)

    do u mean that post where u found out the typo for trebuchet was suppose to be 78 insteand of 77? i am basically a noob, if i have to go open some files and edit something u will have to exlplain it to me step by step, i have 0 modding/editing experience.
