After installing the English package, the game crashes. Encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

Looks like the english translation for the newest version is locked behind a paywall, Anyone know if the translation is good or just machine translated like the previous version

You quite rightly noticed that the English translation of the BS Final+ version had very obvious bugs and errors due to machine translation.
There are two versions of the translation right now:
1. for fix3|4 extended. - there is only an adaptation of the old translation for the new version of the BS.
2. The eng translation for patch1 (available on patreon for this moment)- and already there a huge colossal work has been done on the remaster of the English translation.

Unlike the previous one (for fix3|4) - here, in addition to adapting to the new version, a lot of work has been done to improve the quality of the translation. A huge number of errors and bugs have been fixed. Many translation files have been carefully and very carefully revised.
(Out of a total of 29 translation files, 19 files have been reforged so far at the cost of enormous effort and time)
There are still 10 left - which we will deal with in the future. But even now this is a significant leap towards improvement and a comfortable game).
When the checks and remastering of all the remaining 10 files are completed, it will be possible to say with confidence that the English translation of the BS is 99.9% complete and perfect for all 10 out of 10.
