Hi all Im 105 turns in campaign (0.98 version of 21.08.21) So far no end turn CTD. Great work with stability
Only CTD a have was during battle loading. Problem is Kurdish footmen mercenery unit.

I'm having a constant CTD while loading the 95th turn in my Rum Seljuk campaign. I'm playing on (Patch H The August Version) and the campaign was smooth for me until the 70th turn. then every 2-3 laps I would get a crash while loading the next turn. I managed to reach the 94th turn yet for some reason this CTD is quite consistant. I would love if you could give it a look, I really want to go through with this campaign, more about it will be posted on the Empire Screenshots Thread.

Getting a crash when I pick "Bulgarian Mercenaries" and open a battle
You can reproduce this by opening the attachment, find Ragusa, hire "Bulgarian Mercenaries" and go to battle.
If I hire any other mercenary, the battle opens up. But if I have "Bulgarian Mercenaries" in my roster, I get unspecified error.

Hey Sinsathar, I found just today the time to look a bit more closely at your report (thanks again for it!)
- The units got adressed by other member of the team I think
- for the traits:
- Waning/Grownig faith need indeed to be fiwed, they are not mutually exclusive but they should! I'll fix it
- Brave and Faltering courage should lower each other at turn's end until only one is left for the next turn. I'll redo it so that there can be only one at any time!
- Religious and Strictly Religious are two different things: the first is about faith of the character, the second is about tolerance towards other beliefs I think. But it is not very clear I admit!

Hi, I'm 111 turns into the game on v. 0.98 beta.
I seem to crash during the sphere_(faction) triggers quite often. What do these do?
Example, also had it happened for turks on the same turn.

Other than that it has mostly been stable, a nice experience.
I also have a few CTDs in my campaign that do not recur after reloading the save. I personally have no idea of their origin.

Ha! Indeed, I've been tweaking and messing around with the code of mtw 2 and rtw for years now. Could never be bothered getting into modding, besides doing historical resarch and descriptions for events, units and structures etc.
Anyhow, is there something I can do to fix this problem with the Scoutatoi Swordsmen?
- Find the unit in the EDU
- Note it's 'dictionary' entry
- Open data\text\export_units.txt
- Copy a set (3) of lines from any unit to the bottom of the file, example Ballista
Code:{AS_Ballista}Ballista {AS_Ballista_descr}These artillery pieces.... {AS_Ballista_descr_short}Resembling....
- Replace the unit's name 'AS_Ballista' with your dictionary entry
- Replace text after the curly bracket
- Save data\text\export_units.txt
I think that they should be called "Skoutatoi Spearmen and Skoutatoi Swordmen" and both with same abilities ( shield wall, good morale, good stamina), the shield wall is for reflect the "fulcum" formation in byzantine proffesional infantry army with difference for spearmen ( combat bonus against cavalry) and different attack stats and similar armour ( both unit models have the same armour and training)
