Are these units historically accurate?
Are these units historically accurate?
Is there some one that can make strategy map models for the Faction Leaders, Heirs, Generals and Captains out of the battle models of Caudillo87's Roster?
I have tried to do it my self, but the applications I used (GameObjectApplicationToolbox_v1_0 and stratmodelconverter_ver1_1) do not work, they produce an error reading the .ms3d files

Yes and no. Some of the Byzantine textures are a bit wild, but some are more reasonable. It's more of an imagination of the Komnenians if they had cared to restore some old imperial symbolism with an anachronistic, retro medieval style. As far as I know the Kwarezmians are accurate/authentic enough, though.
I also just want to chime in once again on how amazing this sub-mod is!
Anyone manage to get this working with SSHIP?
the fixes and most links don't work. these skins are way better then vanilla. hooe to see these in more mods and soon on age of charlemange DLC for attilla.
The Alternate Download is still working
Under the patronage of Flinn, proud patron of Jadli, from the Heresy Vault of the Imperial House of Hader
Do we necessarily need the fixes? Or are they all included in the alternate downloads?
can you make this standalone with vanilla?
is this still being worked on?
I noticed this pack leads to crashes in battle mode, not sure why. Is there a new upload for the pack including the fixes? The other links don't work.
Update: I managed to fix this by completely removing all files in this pack that weren't Byzantine related, including the descr_mount.txt and export_descr_unit.txt. Having taken a look through the previous posts in this thread I believe the crash is related to this crossbow / maceman fix issue, which I cannot download unfortunately. To be safe however I just removed everything that was not for the Byzantines - as I saw a lot of other files in this pack that are not intended (?) to be overwritten to begin with (Cumans, Germans, French etc).
Not sure if the fix is related to removing the .txt files or because I removed the Persian bits, or the additional default files included. I may have also removed the skins / .txt that was related to the crossbows and maces causing the crash.
As it stands I'm using 6.4 with the Byzantines reskins, including the UI someone made in this thread too. Have had no further crashes, campaign battles all working fine.
